Captain TJ Schlick
Owner/OperatorI have been in the industry for 34 years. Been a licensed Captain for 27 years. I’ve been associated with the Eldorado for over 30 years. I started out as a cook twilight Fishing. The following year moved out to the deck in a couple years later moved over to the Eldorado where I’ve spent the majority of my career. I have a good knowledge of our waters off the coast of Southern California. I have fished from point conception to the waters outside of Colonet Mexico, to waters outside Cortes bank. I was raised in the industry where customer service was a priority, cleanliness of the boat, and the overall experience you had while on board are key values that I still hold true today. I control what I am able to control, and the rest will take care of itself.

CookI have been with the Eldorado for the past 12 years. In total I have over 30 years of experience on the ocean. I was a Deckhand for most of my career, and now I am inside the galley taking care of the cooking detail. When I’m not inside cooking, you will find me outside on deck, helping the crew and May hooking and handing a few fish for the passengers that are less fortunate. I am looking forward to the upcoming season to seeing the regulars, and all the first timers
Shawn Terrell
DeckhandMy main role on the boat is to guide and assist any passengers throughout the trip. Whether that be helping someone get rigged up, gaffing a fish, or even just answering any questions that a passenger might have. On every trip I strive to make memories with our passengers. What’s the point in fishing if you can’t enjoy time spent with others.
